We can offer you forecasts for icing events up to 48 hours in advance, along with associated probabilities for each event. Additionally, we can provide a forecast of power losses up to 48 hours ahead, expected due to icing events occurring in the plant.
We can provide onshore & offshore forecasts up to 10 days, compiled from a combination of 3-4 models, with 2-4 updates per day. For those seeking advanced features like forecast visualization, automated email alerts, and reports, we have developed the MetOcean Platform — a web portal that provides graphical representations of weather and wave predictions.
Hindcast data, often referred to as a “re-analysis” of forecasts or validated historical weather & ocean data. Hindcast data can be used for identifying the ideal location of future wind energy projects, for calculations of the average wind turbine availability or analyzing wind energy potential. At ConWX, we provide hindcast data dating back 23 years with hourly resolution.
We can provide with more than 20 weather, waves, and current parameters. Here are some examples. Weather – wind speed, wind gust, wind direction, temperature, precipitation, visibility, dew point temperature, lightning. Waves- significant wave heights, wave direction, and wave period.
